About Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010
As provided for in the Credit Reporting Agencies (CRA) Act, all CRAs shall fully comply to the Act by 15 October 2014.
Credit Reporting Agencies (or CRAs) are entities registered to carry out credit reporting operations under the Credit Reporting Agencies Act 2010. CRAs collate credit information that can be used in establishing a person’s eligibility for credit.
The roles of Credit Reporting Agencies:

Creating transparency in order to facilitate access to quick and easy credit.

Helping to create stronger businesses and reduce risk by allowing them to make more informed credit decisions, which in turn strengthen the economic and financial system of the country.
The Credit Reporting Agencies Act provides for the registration and regulation of CRAs, with a Registrar appointed to carry out the functions of this Act.
